You realize this will only drive the few remaining mission runners who mission in low sec to the high sec systems right? You'll have a week or two of feasting on targets then as people a) find out about this change or b) get sick if losing their ships regularly they will lave and not come back leaving fewer targets than before and those are likely going to be newbies in T1 fits. The T2 & Faction fit older characters are going to keep to high sec resulting in more whines about moving L4s to low sec.

Boost? Piracy is pretty much easy street anyway, do you suck that bad you need a boost? I maen really how hard is it to sit at a gate and blow up people as they come through? Probing out mission runners is probably the most difficult part of it. Don't try the "I'm a pirate & I got it tough" whine on me, only stupid pirates believe the whole "risk vs. reward" thing to be true. Piracy is all about minimal risk for maximum reward.

Did I say it spelled the end? Nope, I just said its going to cause the mission runners who currently mission in low sec to move their base of operations to high sec since their risk just increased a lot without any increase to their rewards. This results in 2 things, less people in low sec and more people lagging out the high sec mission hubs. Less targets hurts pirates financially, more lag hurts the "carebears" so nobody wins.

I'll be sure to link this thread when your tears are flooding the forums in posts that cry about low sec being empty, moving L4 missions to low sec, or getting rid of profitable ore in highsec because you don't have enough targets. The biggest challenge of piracy often is finding someone to gank.
